Happy August
It has been a while since we talked, worked out together, or got together. A lot has happened, to say the least. I am now a mom of a 4-month-year-old baby boy named Sage, my son. Shortly after Sage was born (11 days later to be exact) Chris, my husband, was diagnosed with a stroke. This was something we did not anticipate. I don’t know how I did it but my body kicked into high gear to take care of my family. I also couldn’t have done it without your support and the messages I received throughout the adversity.
Thanks for all the support from you, friends, and family. I was able to gain the strength I needed to stand up, take care of Sage, and visit Chris at the hospital. Today, Chris is currently recovering and Sage is growing into a young boy. We’re doing much better. Now, I’m able to follow up with my responsibilities, like providing you with the most important fitness and health guidance. Â
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your words. I received your messages and it was heartfelt. Also, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your donation. Chris’ college friends started a GoFundMe. Chris and I were both overwhelmed with the love and joy received. Action Team Fitness is here today thanks to your help!
Having these life-changing events back to back taught me how important it is to have a routine. Having a routine helped me manage anxiety despite the circumstances. Along with taking care of Sage, my peace came from the routine of performing daily meditations, Sun A and B salutations, Push-ups, and Bicycles. I rolled out my mat and did the practice. This kept me mentally and physically sane. I came up with a new sequence that guided me through these times and I’m sharing it with you here!Â
Livestream sessions will resume at the end of September. All session packages are still valid. Stay up to date by following me on Instagram @sarahghilardi for more updates.Â
Once again thank you for your support of being an Action Team Fitness member! I can't wait to move with you again.
Thank you,
SarahÂ
